I enjoy working with a broad palette of subjects; and animal sculptures are a more recent interest. My Bajan Monkey for example was inspired by the flora and fauna of Barbados, the equine piece by a trek across Patagonia from Argentina to Chile.

I am increasingly being commissioned for animal studies which I really enjoy, and occasionally love to add a touch of humour to the piece, while staying true to the character of the sitter. Many of my animal sculptures started out as potential commissions or as work for the commercial sculpture studio, which were then developed into smaller gallery pieces for my portfolio of figurative sculptures.
